视频点播是一种新兴的交互式多媒体技术。首先简要介绍了视频点播服务器实现中的关键技术,如数据存储、硬盘调度、视频流轮换、接纳控制、缓存管理等。然后在简易的硬件环境下给出了一种能够达到一定性能指标的视频点播服务器的设计和实现方案,最后对该实现方案的性能进行了测试与评估。
Video on demand is a new and emerging interactive multimedia technology. Firstly, the key technologies of video on demand server are briefly introduced, such as data storage, hard disk scheduling, video stream rotation, admission control, cache management and so on. Then a design and implementation scheme of video on demand server which can reach a certain performance index is given under the simple hardware environment. Finally, the performance of this scheme is tested and evaluated.
