去年,約翰逊政府妄想用瘋狂的扩軍备战和不断扩大侵越战爭,来解决越南問题和日益逼近的美国經济危机。結果是,不仅美帝国主义的侵略軍被英勇的越南人民打得一敗塗地,而且侵越軍費的激增也大大加深了美国財政金融方面的困难。一場侵越战爭,把美帝国主义这个龐然大物弄得手忙脚乱,穷于应付。这說明美国的經济是多么脆弱,多么經不起风浪。
Last year, the Johnson administration, in its vain attempt to solve the problem of Vietnam and the approaching economic crisis in the United States, frantically used its arms expansion and war preparations and expanded its war of aggression.
