唐传奇是中国小说发展的重要阶段,是中国古典小说成熟的标志。鲁迅在《中国小说史略》中对唐传奇的兴起、发展及作品收录都进行了分析。刘咸炘则在鲁迅的基础上,从“辨体”的角度,对唐传奇做了进一步的探究,他认为唐传奇不同于六朝志怪小说,并提出唐传奇最大的特点在于“行文逶迤”。
Tang legend is an important stage in the development of Chinese novels and a symbol of the maturity of Chinese classical novels. In “A Brief History of Chinese Fiction”, Lu Xun analyzed the rise, development and collection of works of the Tang legend. On the basis of Lu Xun, Liu Xiangyuan further explores the legend of the Tang from the angle of “differentiation”, and holds that the legend of the Tang is different from that of the mysterious novels of the Six Dynasties and proposes that the greatest characteristic of the Tang legend lies in the fact that “ ”.
