Japan’s Edo period, social and political economy is relatively stable, prosperous cultural undertakings, garden culture has also been considerable development. At that time, almost all Japanese dynasties have a number of dwelling houses, have built homes in the house, Daming Garden was built. Most of the famous gardens use an orbital garden style. There are water, trees, flowers, grasses, stones (groups) and sand in the garden. These elements are organically connected by the garden and form a landscape. However, the famous court in the Japanese garden history has not been valued, the Japanese garden historians generally do not evaluate the famous court. Compared with the garden before the Edo period, Daming Garden has more functions and practical value. From this perspective, Daming Courtyard should have its place in the history of Japanese gardens.
