Using arginine-glycine-aspartic acid-phenylacetamide, a short peptide of L-arginine and arginine-glycine-aspartic acid, ie RGD sequence, in normotensive and essential hypertensive rats Diastolic effects of isolated arterial blood vessels were studied. As a result, it was found that L-arginine and arginine-glycine-aspartic acid-phenylacetamide exhibited varying degrees of diastolic effects on vascular smooth muscle of both animals and that the diastolic action showed a dose-dependent and endothelial Dependency. Pharmacodynamic analysis showed that the half effective concentrations of L-arginine and arginine-glycine-aspartic acid-phenylacetamide diastolic blood vessels were 10-7 and 10-6 mol / L, respectively. Both Ac-RGD The maximum diastolic effect of PEA was about 4-20% for different animals treated differently. The experimental results suggest that L-arginine and its derivatives play a role in the regulation of blood pressure and the treatment of hypertension.
