社会的发展,经济起着主导作用。经济代表着一个地方的实力,决定着一个地方的地位和形象。现在很多社会问题归根到底是经济问题,经济发展了,很多事情都好办,很多矛盾都能迎刃而解。正因为如此,中共湖南省委、湖南省人民政府提出了加快实现工业化、农业产业化、城镇化的奋斗目标,并确定以优化经济环境为突破口,快速推进“三化”进程。然而,投资是经济增长中最为活跃、最具推力的因素之一,它关系到湖南的进一步开发、腾飞、繁荣和可持续发展。能否获得充足的投资,在经济全球化、我国入世和西部大开发的形势下,就显得更加迫切。而投资环境与引进资金、技术、人才等息息相关,因此搞好湖南投资环境建设,是优化湖南经济环境的重中之重。为此,本刊推出此次专题,为优化湖南经济环境壮点声势。
