目前的养鱼池几乎都是露天的,鱼池(塘)的水温随着外界气候而变化,冬季低在2℃以下,夏季高在30℃以上。在防治鱼病时,如不考虑水温的影响,只凭经验或采用说明书上所标注的浓度,则发挥不出药物的效果,例如:用硫酸铜治口丝虫病,夏季水温25℃～30℃,只需0.5ppm;而冬季水温在5℃左右则需1.4ppm;又如冬季采用10ppm 浓度漂白粉给种鱼消毒,夏季则只能采用2～5ppm,否则将发生用药过量。
