铂通常是许多电解氧化反应的阳极材料,因为价值很贵,且不易获得,所以我们研究用过氧化铅电极来替代,实验结果表明,对于某些阳极反应是可以的。从过氧化铅的化学和电化学性质可双看出,在电解过程中,它是一个良好的阳极材料。它是一个良好的导电体,电阻是40—50×10~(-6)欧姆·厘米。它和大多数氧化剂及酸不起作用,又具有高的氧超电势,故可用作阳极替代铂。曾有许多研究工作者建议用过氧化铅作阳极电化生产氯酸盐、溴酸盐、高氯酸盐和过硫酸盐,我们研究了碘酸盐的生产。
Platinum is often the anode material for many electrolytic oxidation reactions. Since it is expensive and not readily available, we have studied the replacement of lead oxide with lead and the experimental results show that it is possible for some anode reactions. From the chemical and electrochemical properties of lead peroxide can be seen both in the electrolysis process, it is a good anode material. It is a good electrical conductor, the resistance is 40-50 × 10 ~ (-6) ohm · cm. It does not work with most oxidants and acids and has a high oxygen overpotential, so it can be used as an anode to replace platinum. Many researchers have suggested using lead peroxide for the production of chlorate, bromate, perchlorate and persulfate at the anodes and we studied the production of iodate.
