1994年普通高等学校招生全国统一考试(以下简称高考)的各科《考试说明》作了修改和调整。 这是今年高考情况变化的一个重要特点,引起了社会各界的关注。为什么必须在今年修订《考试说明》呢?修改的依据和原则又是什么呢?《中国考试》编辑部收到了许多读者的来函、来电,要释疑,势必涉及到《全日制中学教学大纲》的修订与变化、高考各科的内容、知识点分布情况和能力要求等科学性、专业性都很强的一系列问题。为此,国家教委考试中心邀请了参加高考各科《考试说明》修订工作的部分学者和专家,摆写了各科《考试说明》修订的依据、原则及为什么这样修订的情况分析,以帮助广大读者对新修订后的高考各科《考试说明》有比较全面的理解。 那么,为什么非要于今年修订《考试说明》呢?众所周知,1990年国家教委颁布了《全日制中学教学大纲》修订本,也就是说,今年应届高中毕业生所学习的教材以及对教学的要求,都是以这个教学大纲作出相应的修改才是适宜的。 这里涉及到了《教学大纲》与《考试说明》的关系问题,《教学大纲》规定了各科教学的要求和应达到的基本目标,并对达到各科目标要求昕应掌握的教学过程及按照循序渐进的原则应该学习的内容、知识点的分布作了规定;高考则是通过测验这种手段,来测验或检查、选拔那些
