一般串联调整式稳压电源,调整管管压降6V~10V才能稳压输出,因而调整管功耗大,效率低。图1所示是低功耗稳压电源电路,当调整管管压降为1.5V,电源仍然稳压输出,输出纹波电压也符合要求。因而大大减小了调整管的功耗,提高了电源的效率。当调整管管压降为1V,电源仍然稳压输出,但输出纹波电压很大,所以调整管最小管压降要选择1.5V以上为好。该电源的稳压原理如下:
