Chemical experiment is an important means to acquire knowledge and carry out knowledge innovation. However, for a long time in chemistry teaching, experiments have often been dissociated into a form, losing its inquiry function and becoming a vassal or embellishment of knowledge indoctrination, which has seriously affected the quality and enthusiasm of students’ learning. In view of this situation, the chemistry experiment teaching in middle schools should pay special attention to the nature of the experiment to restore the experiment. The experiment should be used to explore questions and gain knowledge.
