For some planar microwave circuit components are given quantitative design information. The calculation of the microstrip line segment is the same as calculating the parallel adjustable element, and the microstrip stub line with short radial line, open circuit coupling and short circuit coupling is discussed. A typical application of the measurement results given in circuits utilizing planar tunable elements is also presented.
