考卡河萨尔瓦金纳工程,位于哥伦比亚西南卡利城附近,主要是开垦考卡河谷低地。低地沿河长394km,面积达10万公顷,常遭洪水淹没,防洪标准为30年一遇洪水。该工程的主要建筑物是混凝土面板堆石坝,坝高148m,是目前世界上正在运用的第二座混凝土面板高坝;还有压力管道、装机27万千瓦的电厂及由闸门控制的开敞式溢洪道,最大流量为3660m~3/s,系按最大可能洪水(PMF)调洪演算而得。两条直径7.6m的施工导流隧洞,竣工后用于泄洪。水库库容9.06亿m~3,图1为工程总平面布置图。
The Cauca River Salvazne Project, located near the city of Cali in southwestern Colombia, is primarily the reclamation of the Cauca Valley lowlands.
