柳沟灌区位于奎屯河与四棵树河之间的下游地区。由原柳沟一、二、三场相继合并而成,即现在的125团场。1954年开荒建场,总规划面积约45万亩。 这个灌区在地貌上基本属于冲积沼泽平原区。由于奎屯河及老柳沟的冲积作用,使整个低洼平缓的地形上呈现着受冲沟切割及不连续的低地沼泽的景象。土壤在垦前主要为沙漠土及盐土,轻盐化及非盐化土壤很少。一米土层含盐量在1—2.27％,耕作层
