几年前,统一通信(Unified Communications,简称UC)的概念如同爆发前的山洪,做着最后的酝酿。如今国内外主流厂商纷纷推出产品及解决方案,抢占中国市场。据计世资讯调查显示,在金融危机阴影笼罩下的2008年,中国统一通信整体市场规模仍然超过了51亿元,同比增长62%,“统一通信”大戏渐入高潮。那么,统一通信到底有着怎样的魔力,吸引着国内外众多IT企业不惜花费大量的人力、物力、财力拓展这一市场呢?本期“统一通信”专题以Avaya、思科、微软、IBM等主流厂商各自的统一通信应用特色及成功案例为主要内容,从中或许可以找出统一通信大行其道的真正原因。
A few years ago, the concept of unified communications (Unified Communications, referred to as UC) as the flash flood before the outbreak, in the final brewing. Now mainstream manufacturers at home and abroad have introduced products and solutions to seize the Chinese market. According to a survey conducted by the World Press Institute, the overall market size of China’s unified communications still exceeded 5.1 billion yuan in 2008 under the shadow of the financial crisis, an increase of 62% over the same period of last year. The drama of “unified communications” has been climactic. So, what is the magic of unified communications in the end, attracting many IT companies at home and abroad at the expense of a lot of manpower, material and financial resources to expand this market? This issue of “unified communications” to Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, etc. Mainstream vendors of their own unified communications applications and success stories as the main content, from which may be able to find out the real reason for the proliferation of unified communications.
