石臼港工程为开敞式沉箱墩栈桥码头。由于出岸较远,施工作业风浪影响大,沉箱墩安装精度要求高,因而在海上施工定位方面有不少困难。从我们初次引用红外测距仪的效果看不仅在较大程度上提高了定位精度和测量效率。
