Objective To investigate the clinical value of preoperative plasma D-dimer (D-Dimer) in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods The plasma levels of DD in 98 patients with NSCLC were measured and compared with those in healthy controls. The relationship between DD level and clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of NSCLC patients was analyzed. Results The preoperative plasma DD level in NSCLC patients was (0.498 ± 0.324) mg / L, significantly higher than that in healthy controls (0.146 ± 0.057) mg / L, with significant difference (P <0.05) With the clinical progression of the tumor increased, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), but with age, gender, pathological type was no significant difference (P> 0.05). The prognosis of patients with NSCLC with DD≤0.3 mg / L was significantly better than that with DD> 0.3 mg / L (P <0.05). Conclusion Preoperative determination of DD in patients with NSCLC has certain value in the assessment of disease and prognosis.
