前言从海沙中回收钛铁矿是澳大利亚西部采矿工业的一项新发展。自1956年开始生产,至今钛铁矿在澳大利亚的主要矿产中已跃居第六位。澳大利亚西部钛铁矿储量较大,其特点是三氧化二铬含量低(0.03—0.04%Gr_2O_3),二氧化钛含量由中到高(54—60%TiO_2)。
Foreword The recovery of ilmenite from sea sand is a new development in the mining industry in western Australia. Since its production started in 1956, ilmenite mine has now ranked sixth in Australia’s major minerals. Large reserves of ilmenite in western Australia are characterized by low chromium oxide (0.03-0.04% Gr 2 O 3) and medium to high titanium dioxide (54-60% TiO 2).
