预订目录是预订图书的记录,是采访人员订购查重,有效使用图书经费的重要工具。编制预订目录,主要有书名法、书号法和订单存底法几种方法。书名法,即按预订图书的书名宇顺排列,组成书名字顺目录。较为简便的做法是以征订目录为依据,将征订的每一种书目资料剪贴在废卡片上,然后按书名的汉语拼音音序排列。书号法,即将预订图书的统一书号或标准书号填在预制的卡片上,组成卡片式目录。订单存底法,即将所有的征订单各保存一份,然后按每种征订单的固有次序存底,组成书本式目录。
