甘河林业公司位于大兴安岭主脉的东南坡,在内蒙古自治区呼伦贝尔盟鄂伦春自治旗境内,其主管机关是内蒙古大兴安岭林业管理局。甘河林区自1957年开发建设以来,国家累计投资5,893万元,截止1987年底上缴利润11,665万元,拥有固定资产106,179万元;累计为国家生产木材800多万立方米,锯材140多万立方米,生产纤维板18万吨。 1956年呼伦贝尔盟公署在甘河建立了甘河林区森林经营局,1957年经营局和森工局合并成立林业局,隶属内蒙古牙克石林业管理局。1972～1978年划归黑龙江省大兴安岭林业管理局领导。1979年又划归内蒙古大兴
