本文是1990年11月进行的全国科学家与工程师抽样调查的总结报告。透过本文,我们对中国科学家与工程师为什么献身科学技术,以及他们的时间分配、工资收入、工作条件、环境条件、精神状态和能力发挥情况会有一个大致的了解。本文还指出,只有采取行之有效的措施,才能使中国的科学家和工程师充分发挥能力,使中国的科学技术有长足的发展,给中国的经济腾飞打下坚实的基础。
This is a summary report of a sample survey of scientists and engineers nationwide conducted in November 1990. Through this article, we have a general idea of why Chinese scientists and engineers dedicate themselves to science and technology and their time distribution, wage income, working conditions, environmental conditions, mental states and ability to exert their influence. This article also points out that only effective measures can enable Chinese scientists and engineers to give full play to their ability to make great progress in science and technology in China and lay a solid foundation for China's economic growth.
