Changzhou Hyundai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Forestry Machinery Co., Ltd. to jointly invest US$20 million in construction. The company built its own factories and sold them. Since it began testing the modern ROBEX excavators in the second half of 1995, it has sold 4O units by the end of 1995. Korea Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. mainly produces modern ROBEX series excavators. The main components of this series of excavators use advanced components produced by world famous companies. For example, the engine adopts the Cummins engine of the United States, and the main components of the main pump, main control valve, swing motor, traveling motor and pilot valve are adopted.
