说起现仍勤恳耕耘于中央音乐学院教学和学术园地的汪毓和,业内专家和学人应该不陌生。作为音乐史学家,汪先生矢志于中国近现代音乐史的研究以及当代音乐评论,近50载笔耕不辍,硕果累累。他先后作为国家教委哲学社会科学博士点重点科研项目的课题组负责人、国家“八五”重点科研项目和负责人进行科研工作;还先后担任《简明中国百科全书》音乐部分的顾问、大百科全书出版社与中央音乐学院合编的《音乐百科全书》的副主编、大百科全书第二版“音乐学科”主编,中华民族文化促进会举办的“二十世纪华人音乐经典”艺术委员会委员等。作为园丁,汪先生半个世纪以来泽育后生一批接一批,一代又一代,其中既有接受培训的人员(国内外都有),也有学士、硕士和博士,他也长期应邀为国内各地及香港各高等院校、音乐家协会进行讲学,因此,他的学生遍布大江南北,可谓桃李满天下。汪先生在过去约50年的岁月里能写出如此丰实的人生,这与其生活经历有着密切关系,与其在音乐史学和音乐评论领域几十年来如一日的钻研息息相关,也与其谦谦和善、真实而真情的治学风格紧密相连。
