近日,全球国际竞争力评价的两大权威机构-世界经济论坛(WEF)和瑞士洛桑国际管理发展学院(IMD)分别发布了其最新的2003年度国际竞争力评价报告。在世界经济论坛的全球竞争力排名中,中国位居第33位,竞争力跃升了6位;而瑞士洛桑国际管理发展学院评价报告显示,2003年中国国际竞争力排名下降1位,中国大陆在人口超过两千万人的30个国家和地区中名列第12位,但在世界竞争力格局中的位置没有变化,从八大要素排名看,中国的国际竞争力正走向强势。两份报告在充分肯定中国宏观经济实现稳定增长的同时,也分别从不同角度对制约中国综合竞争力提升的因素进行了分析:
Recently, the two most authoritative international competitiveness assessment agencies, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Swiss Institute of Management Development (IMD), respectively released their latest 2003 International Competitiveness Evaluation Report. China ranks 33rd in the global competitiveness ranking of the World Economic Forum and its competitiveness has soared 6 places. According to the evaluation report of Lausanne International Management Development Institute in Switzerland, China ranked first in international competitiveness in 2003, while China China ranks 12th in the 30 countries and regions with a population of more than 20 million but its position in the world competitiveness pattern has not changed. According to the ranking of the eight major factors, China’s international competitiveness is on the rise.
