南方麦区春后高温多湿,常导致麦株早衰减产.文献指出:麦株早衰虽可表现为茎叶早枯,但主要原因却是根活力的衰落.为解决这一问题,进行了春后壅根培土试验.试验方法本试验的壅根培土是条播麦田现行中耕作业的改良.为了提高壅根培土效果,特制造麦田壅根锄(图1).该锄入土深度可达2寸以上,能使行间表土覆向根际达3寸多,麦行基部可形成条垅.这就有利于泄除地面径流,改善土壤通透条件,并兼有除草促苗和近根客土,促进表土中速效氮向根际富集的作用.
