我县杂交稻制种历年是利用前作早稻田,种子纯度、产量较低。近年用烟茬田作杂交稻制种,不仅种子质量好、产量高,而且经济效益较高。现将黄烟、制种轮作制的优点简报于下。1.能提早杂交稻制种的播种期。历年杂交稻制种的始穗期在9月6—8日,现在改在烟茬田制种,黄烟在6月中旬前可收完,父本可在6月28—30日插植(父本要留空田育秧),8月24—26日始穗;母本7月8—10日插植,8月23—25日始穗。2.水早轮作可改良土壤,提高地力。
