社会美是指社会生活中的美,经常表现为各种积极肯定的生活现象。历史学科的社会美往往是以历史人物为中心,并且通过历史人物的言行举止所显示出来的美。历史教学中的社会美教育常常和德育结合在一起,表现为美德教育。古往今来的风流人物,多如繁星的民族精英,他们身上所体现出来的璀灿思想和精神风貌,是我们进行社会美教育的极好教材。挖掘爱国主义教育的内容,培养学生爱国主义的情感;挖掘理想教育的内容,引导学生树立远大理想;挖掘美德教育的内容,培养学生良好的品质。
