一台完全在共振条件下以新原理工作的新型旋转弯曲疲劳试验机已经设计制成了。虽然试样固定在机架上、不旋转,但试样由于受强制旋转的偏心块的惯性力作用遭受旋转弯曲应力。振幅是通过专门设计的可运动的传动轴从零到最大值用任意调节。所以,试验的起动及振幅的调节是容易的,而且是精确的。当传动速度达到共振点时,惯性质量的运动完全是圆形的。一些疲劳试验均在平滑的及刻痕试样上作的,试验机结果表明运转是令人满意的。
A new rotary bending fatigue testing machine that operates completely under new resonance conditions has been designed and manufactured. Although the specimen is fixed to the machine frame and does not rotate, the specimen is subjected to rotational bending stress due to the inertial force of the forcibly rotating eccentric block. Amplitude is arbitrarily adjusted from zero to maximum with a specially designed movable shaft. Therefore, the start of the test and the adjustment of the amplitude are easy and accurate. When the transmission speed reaches the resonance point, the inertial mass movement is completely circular. Some fatigue tests were performed on smooth and scored specimens and the results of the testing machine showed that the work was satisfactory.
