经济合同的价款或酬金,是指在合同中一方为了得到另一方的产品、完成工程劳务或智力成果所支付的代价。它是合同中心,体现了合同各方的利益所在,也是签订有效经济合同的必要条件。在国际商业合同或涉外经济合同中,合同的价款一般由合同当事人之间协商议定。这种协商议定的过程实际上就是双方当事人在合同谈判中讨价还价的过程。经过这个过程而达成的条款就是合同的价格条款。
