轮胎式装载和运输设备,如:矿用汽车、前装机、拖拉铲运机等,近几年来,在露天开采矿山有较大发展。但是,由于矿山使用条件恶劣,轮胎使用寿命很短,消耗量较大。据有关资料介绍:一个国产的汽车轮胎使用时间一般不超过1000小时,引进的国外轮胎一般也只用2000小时左右即为报废。因此,消费在轮胎上的费用在运输总支出成本中占有相当的比重。如何延长轮胎的使用寿命，提高矿山建设的经济效益，是入们一直较为关注的问题。最近我们同GOOD YEAR国际有限公司就合理使用矿用轮胎进竹了技术交流，提供了一些可借鉴的技术资料。本刊将根据GOOD YEAR等公司提供的技术资料经过整理分两期刊出。愿读者从中得到收益。
