因社会主义建设的需要,近年来艺术类专业院校不断增加,艺术类考生也在不断扩招。艺术类专业学生思维敏锐活跃,富有创新精神等特点,是大学生中最为敏感和最具活力的群体。但与综合类院校的学生相比,艺术类院校学生专业情结浓厚,文化基础薄弱;生活中叛逆性较强,思想波动较大,个性较突出。艺术院校担负着为祖国培养艺术专业人才和输送艺术教育工作者的重任,艺术专业大学生作为我国大学生的重要组成部分,加强和改进艺术类大学生发展党员工作,把优秀青年学生吸引到党组织中来,是对大学生进行思想教育最有效的形式,是高等艺术院校育人工作的重要环节。加强对艺术类院校大学生的教育和培养,提高艺术类学生对入党重要性的理解和认识对培养优秀艺术工作者有着重要意义。作为一名教育工作者,特别是从事高等艺术院校的学生管理者能够及时掌握学生的思想动态,从根本上把握艺术类学生特有的个性,是指导今后教育管理者的有效途径和基本要求。
