巨石阵的历史比长城都要悠久得多,它是世界上最引人入胜却又最令人难解的历史遗址之一。每年都有成千上万名游客来此观光,为这美丽的巨石阵如何修建及为何而建迷惑不已。科学家已经鉴定出了这处位于英格兰的遗址的起始时间,大概是公元前3000年左右。千百年来,这个石阵历经数时数代才终于建成。其间耗费了成百万工人的辛勤劳动来搬抬这些笨重的石头。
The history of Stonehenge is much longer than that of the Great Wall. It is one of the world’s most intriguing and most intractable historical sites. Thousands of tourists come here to visit each year, wondering how this beautiful Stonehenge was built and why. Scientists have identified the start of this site in England, probably around 3,000 BC. For thousands of years, the Stonehenge has been built for several generations. It took the hard work of millions of workers to lift these heavy stones.
