以134则中国鼠婚作品为主要研究对象,涉及俗信109则,故事、寓言、歌谣25则,分析鼠多棱的形象特征,及其中兽性、神性、妖性和人性的交织,通过鼠婚故事情节的发展探究在农耕文明社会中人与鼠关系的变迁。同时采用比较的方法解读中国鼠婚故事中鼠形象的特点,首先,更加远离宗教色彩和门第观念;其次,其形象的塑造承担了更多的民俗功能;最后,具有开放性和可塑性、充满着民间意趣和无尽的想象。
