春城晚报是云南日报主办的一张四开晚报。它于1980年1月创刊,是“文革”结束以后最早出刊的晚报。它面向城市,以春城昆明以及省内其他城镇各阶层人民为读者对象。8年多来,编辑部执行创刊时省委批准的侧重思想教育、反映人民生活的办报方针,学习1983年冬在昆明召开的第一次全国晚报会议交流的突出“晚”字特点等经验,使春城晚报受到城市各阶层读者的欢迎,发行数近年一直保持在20万份左右,最高时曾达24万多份。
Spring City Evening News is a newspaper held by Yunnan Daily Sikai Evening News. It was first published in January 1980 and was the earliest evening paper published after the “Cultural Revolution” ended. It faces the city, with spring city of Kunming and other towns in all parts of the province for readers. Over the past eight years, the editorial department has implemented the principle of guiding ideology and education that reflects the people’s daily life as approved by the provincial party committee at the time of its founding. It also learned from the outstanding “late” characters of the first National Evening News Conference held in Kunming in the winter of 1983 , So that Spring City Evening News has been welcomed by readers of all walks of life in urban areas. The number of circulation has remained at around 200,000 in recent years, with a peak of over 240,000.
