周殿平,1962年生于山东省莱阳市,中国美术家协会会员,现为山东省莱阳市文联主席、莱阳画院院长。1985年、1992年先后入中国画研究院、中央美术学院国画系深造,并深得李可染、黄胄、刘勃舒等先生教诲,其“奔马系列”创作尤为突出,在画坛享有较高声誉,在翰海拍卖屡创佳绩。他的作品广为海内外多家艺术机构及知名人士收藏。出版有《周殿平画集》。人们说起周殿平,一般都称他为专门画马的艺术家。确实,他擅长画马,是一位画马的高手,但他有全面的绘画才能,人物、山水、花鸟画创作也相当出色。这源于他有扎实的造型基本功和笔墨技巧,有很好的艺术修养。在这个基础上,他专攻马的形象,自然就更得心应手、驾驭自如了。中国历来有画马的传统,历史上积累的经典作品给
Zhou Dianping, born in 1962 in Laiyang City, Shandong Province, is a member of the Chinese Artists Association.
