通过梳理胡适与萨本栋往来信函及胡适日记发现,胡适对萨本栋在厦门大学及中央研究院任职期间的评价很高,也显示二人在中央研究院共事期间结下了深厚友谊。
Through the correspondence between Hu Shi and Sa Bei Dong and Hu Shi’s diary, Hu Shih found that Sabine was highly appraised during his tenure at Xiamen University and Academia Sinica, and also showed that they had formed deep friendship during the work of Academia Sinica.
