In 1995, the meeting of the director of the Office of the Chinese Ministry of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held in Beijing on January 22nd. The health departments (bureaus), Chinese medicine (drugs) Administration, and Pharmaceutical Administration (headquarters) of 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and cities under separate planning were established. More than 300 responsible comrades of relevant departments of the State Council, the National People’s Congress, the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the People’s Liberation Army, the armed police headquarters, the relevant democratic parties, and the Federation of Industry and Commerce attended the meeting. The main tasks of this conference are: Implementing the spirit of the “State Council’s Urgent Notice on Further Strengthening Drug Administration Work” and further in-depth study of deployment, inventory, and reorganization
