用于测量水平运动的惯性仪器对倾斜很敏感。重力引起的倾斜耦合作用会沿仪器传感轴施加一个随倾斜量而变的力,这种耦合效应在大量地震学研究和隔震研究中必须加以考虑。理论上,通过组合数个传感器的测量,有许多方法可分离倾斜和水平运动分量,并产生水平运动的无倾斜估计值。本文综述了这些组合配置,并分析了与传感器噪声和几何耦合有关的局限性。最后讨论了用悬挂机制来代替信号减去法。
Inertial instruments for measuring horizontal motion are sensitive to tilt. Gravitational-induced tilt coupling imposes a force that varies with tilt along the instrument’s sensing axis. This coupling effect has to be considered in many seismological and isolation studies. In theory, there are many ways to separate the tilt and horizontal motion components by combining measurements from several sensors and produce a tilt-free estimate of the horizontal motion. This article reviews these combined configurations and analyzes the limitations associated with sensor noise and geometric coupling. Finally, the use of suspension mechanism to replace the signal subtraction method.
