In recent years, Japan has used continuous casting machine casting slab, due to improved yield and pouring process simplification, making this technology developed rapidly. However, for high carbon special steel, the slowest progress has been made due to the many defects that occur during casting. This article describes the Kawasaki Iron & Steel Company No. 1 Steel Plant successfully developed a continuous casting machine for injection of high-carbon chromium bearing steel production process.
