The National Development and Reform Commission issued a document stating that the next step will be to focus on promoting deeper price reforms in the fields of electricity, natural gas, medical services, and transportation, and to further liberalize prices for competitive links. We will reform the subsidy method for environmental protection electricity prices, improve the mechanism for the formation of renewable energy prices and subsidy measures, and further promote the differential electricity price policy based on energy consumption per unit in industries with serious overcapacity, and implement progressive tariff increases for over-quota.
