本品种系从国外引入青海,经试种表现早熟、稳产,为青海省审定品种之一。在海拔3000公尺的高寒地区一般亩产300斤左右,在柴达木盆地高达700—800斤。1980年初我们带来少许种子,于3月27日播种于农科院果树园内,6月5日收获,生育期为70天,1983年冬试种播种于晚稻田,从出苗至收获为92天,表现比当地品种早熟、丰产、抗逆性强。植株直立,蔓短矮,株高50厘米左右,单株分枝一般3个左右,高达5个;每株12—20节位,节间长4—5厘米,单株结荚7—8个,高达15—20
