袁宏道后期美学思想与前期差别很大,前期主要是禅道思想的融合,而后期则基本上是儒道思想的结合。这种转变的发生,既有当时社会形势的变化等外在原因,但更主要的是袁氏思想发展的内在必然。综观袁宏道美学思想发展的全过程,可以看出,它始终没有突破传统的儒释道精神的框架,并不具有近代式的启蒙意义。
Yuan Hongdao later aesthetics thought very different from the previous period, the first is the integration of Zen Buddhism and Taoism, while the later is basically the combination of Confucianism and Taoism. The occurrence of this kind of change is not only due to the external reasons such as the change of the social situation at that time, but more important is the inherent necessity of the development of Yuan’s thought. Looking at the whole process of the development of Yuan Hongdao’s aesthetic thoughts, we can see that it has never broken the traditional framework of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and does not have the enlightenment meaning of modern style.
