用1978～1993年采收并贮于干燥器中的烟草种子进行种子的含水量测定和发芽试验。这些种子的含水量在1．7729％～3．8943％之间，平均为2．3076％，均达5％以下的超干燥水平。同时，我们还测出这批种子的平均发芽率为83．3％，并采用三处方法对超干燥烟草种子的寿命进行预测．从而得出烟草种子在超干燥条件下可以保存20～25年以上。
Tobacco seeds harvested from 1978 to 1993 and stored in a desiccator were used to determine the seed water content and germination test. The water content of these seeds ranged from 1.7729% to 3.8943% with an average of 2.3076%, reaching an ultra-dry level below 5%. At the same time, we also determined that the average germination rate of these seeds was 83.3%, and the service life of super-dried tobacco seeds was predicted using three methods. It is concluded that tobacco seeds can be stored for more than 20 to 25 years under ultra-dry conditions.
