淮南市九龙岗第一小学某层工会过去在解决职工生活福利问题方面，做了不少工作。但是，由于没有和增产节约、勤俭持家的思想教育结合起来，因而效果不甚显著。自从党的八届二中全会以后，工会开始纠正了这个缺点，即在帮助教工解决生活福利问题的同时，注意结合进行了艰苦朴素、勤俭持家的教育。一小工会的工作主要有以下两个方面：
In the past, a certain trade union at Jiulonggang Primary School in Huainan City had done a lot of work in solving the problems concerning the welfare of workers. However, the effect was not significant because it was not combined with the ideological education of saving production and saving thrift. Since the Second Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, unions have begun to correct this shortcoming by noting that while helping the teachers to solve their welfare problems, they should also pay attention to the combination of education with hardship and simplicity, and thrifty their families.
