针对节日期间酒后驾驶交通违法行为发生的规律,武汉市公安交管部门从春节前开始,于酒后驾车易发的20时至21时和醉酒驾车易发的23时至次日2时,在饭店、餐馆、酒吧、娱乐场所周边科学部署警力,连续三周开展了统一查处行动。同时,在媒体上对酒后驾车交通违法行为予以曝光,提醒驾驶人避免酒后驾驶,并鼓励群众举报酒后驾车交通违法行为,发挥社会舆论和监督作用,加大整治酒后驾车行为的震慑力度。春节期间,全市共查处154起酒后驾车违法行为,查处醉酒驾车4起,暂扣驾驶证89本,因酒后驾车发生交通事故数量同比减少21%。
