多媒体就是利用现代教育科技手段来储存和传递信息的工具。多媒体教学技术在英语教学中的使用将大大促进英语教学的成效。多媒体软件集图像、声音、文字于一体,通过生动形象、活泼的形式使学生身临其境地学习英语。多媒体在英语教学中存在的必要性,其对素质教育产生的影响,及其在当前英语教学实践中的运用,都说明多媒体对英语教学乃至整个教育事业具有强大的推动作用。
Multimedia is the tool to use modern educational technology to store and transmit information. The use of multimedia teaching technology in English teaching will greatly promote the effectiveness of English teaching. The multimedia software integrates images, sounds and texts to enable students to learn English immersively in lively and vivid forms. The necessity of multimedia in English teaching, its impact on quality education and its application in current English teaching practice all indicate that multimedia plays a powerful role in promoting English teaching and even the entire education.
