在美丽的湘西古城凤凰,有一家由黄永玉题名的手工艺品小店,叫做“阿雅手工”。传闻有一天黄永玉在老街散步,对一家摊位展示的主人的剪纸作品赞不绝口,最后选购了一些作品,丢下500元钱和一句话:“叫妹崽明天去我书房取字!”于是有了“阿雅手工”和这段为人津津乐道的趣闻。“阿雅”在苗语里是大姐的意思,在这里特指龙香梅,一位杰出的湘西苗族民间剪纸艺术家。

One day rumors of Huang Yongyu walking in the streets, the owner of a booth showcasing the paper-cut works full of praise, the final purchase of some works, leaving 500 yuan and a word: “call sister cub go to my study tomorrow to get the word! ”So with “ Aya manual ”and this period of people talked about anecdotes. “Aya ” is the meaning of the eldest sister in Hmong, here specifically refers to the Long Xiang Mei, an outstanding western Hunan Miao folk paper-cut artists.
