毛泽东是中国社会主义现代化的开拓者和奠基者。他在长期领导中国革命和建设中对中国社会主义现代化事业作出了不可磨灭的伟大贡献。这些贡献突出地表现在五个方面:1.总结近代以来无数仁人志士救国救民的教训,得出“走俄国人的路”的结论;2.领导新民主主义革命取得胜利,为中国的社会主义现代化奠定根本前提;3.领导社会主义革命取得成功,为中国社会主义现代化奠定制度基础;4.对中国现代化的战略目标和战略步骤作出总体安排,指明前进方向;5.艰辛探索适合中国情况的社会主义建设道路,为中国特色社会主义道路和理论的形成作了孕育和准备。
Mao Zedong is a pioneer and founder of socialist modernization in China. During his long-term leadership of the Chinese revolution and construction, he made an indelible and great contribution to the cause of socialist modernization in China. These contributions are prominently manifested in five aspects: 1. Summarizing the lesson learned from numerous Kuan-Chihsien’s efforts to save the country and the people since the modern age, we come to the conclusion that “to follow the path of the Russians”; 2. to lead the new-democratic revolution and to win the victory of socialism in China 3. To lead the success of the socialist revolution and lay the institutional foundation for the socialist modernization in China; 4. To make overall arrangements for the strategic objectives and strategic steps of China’s modernization and to indicate the direction of progress; 5. To arduously explore the suitable conditions for China The road of socialist construction gave birth to and preparation for the formation of the road and theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
