建设社会主义新农村呼唤新型农村传媒我国农村与城市的差距是全方位的。具体到新闻媒体的接触和占有方面,农村与城市之间具有不可逾越的鸿沟。把几种主要媒介在我国城市和农村作一个简单对比——报纸:我国的大中城市几乎都有面向城市居民发行的都市报、晚报,许多城市还不止一家,为了争夺有限的资源和市场,多家报纸展开激烈竞争;而在农村, 专门为农民创办的报纸却寥寥无几。广播:交通频率、音乐频率, 几乎都以城市居民为目标受众, 而以农民为目标受众的频率几乎没有。
