1. INTRODUCTION The Compocasting Process has evolved from the Rheocasting Process. The basic principle of the rheological casting method is that the solid-liquid co-existing metal is forcibly stirred, and the solid metal is dispersed in the liquid phase metal with fine spherical particles uniformly to form the slurry.
